  • 24/7 emergency service & remote monitoring for early detection and quick deployment coordination.

Drive-train exchange on a Micon NM 48

Summer 2024

For older turbine types like the Micon NM 48, exchanging the complete drive train is often the most economical solution to ensure reliable and efficient power generation.

In this project, our specialists professionally dismantled the entire drive train — consisting of the main shaft, gearbox, and generator — and replaced it with a refurbished unit.

Project scope in detail:

  • Thorough project planning & lifting concept
  • Dismantling of the existing drive train including auxiliary components
  • Crane work & logistics in close coordination with our partners
  • Installation, alignment, and bolting of the new drive train
  • Final inspection & test run to ensure operational capability
  • Documentation according to AK Fehmarn standards

Thanks to our experienced assembly teams, the intervention could be carried out quickly, safely, and efficiently. In doing so, we make a substantial contribution toward ensuring the long-term operational life and economic efficiency of the Micon NM 48.

Project Körle: Demolition completed after 5 years

Summer 2025

Already five years ago, our team was deployed in Körle to dismantle a wind turbine that had been damaged by fire. At that time, the client decided to repair the system — so we only carried out a partial assembly.

Five years later, our team returned to safely and efficiently dismantle the remaining tower sections with the right experience and equipment.

This project once again demonstrates that we provide our clients with reliable long-term solutions — whether for partial assemblies, repairs, or complete deconstruction projects.

Enercon E40: Marketing, dismantling and transport

In the Project Hagen, we successfully marketed, dismantled, and prepared a complete Enercon E40 for continued operation.

Our services covered the entire process – from the marketing of the turbine, through technical planning of the dismantling, to professional packaging and transport.

Project scope in detail:

  • Marketing the Enercon E40 to a new operator
  • Creation of a lifting concept and safety plan
  • Dismantling of rotor, hub, nacelle, and tower segments
  • Proper disassembly and packaging of all components
  • Organizing transport to the new location
  • Documentation and handover to the new operator

Through our structured working methods, the project was carried out smoothly and on schedule. In doing so, we not only contribute to keeping used wind turbines in operation, but also to sustainability through reuse.

Dismantling of an Enercon E44

Spring 2025

On the Gotthard Pass, we carried out the professional dismantling of an Enercon E44.

The turbine was completely dismantled, refurbished for the secondary market, and is now available for a new operator.

Due to the special geographic location, the project posed challenges: at high altitude there are difficult conditions for logistics, crane work, and personnel. Together with our partner Emil Egger, however, we managed to complete the dismantling safely and on schedule.

Project scope in detail:

  • Dismantling of an Enercon E44 on the Gotthard Pass
  • Disassembly and packaging of all components for the used equipment market
  • Coordination of transport and logistics under alpine conditions
  • Work under difficult weather and altitude conditions
  • Execution in partnership with Emil Egger

With this project, we contribute to sustainability through reuse and demonstrate that we can work successfully even under extreme conditions.

Costa Rica: Major component replacement (Yaw Bearing)

April 2025

As part of our international operations, we carried out a major component replacement (MCR) of the yaw bearing in Costa Rica.

The yaw bearing is a central component that allows precise alignment of the nacelle to the wind direction. A defect or wear quickly leads to downtime and production losses.

Unsere Leistungen im Detail:

  • Preparation & planning of the complete replacement, including transport of spare parts
  • Execution of a safe lifting and dismantling procedure
  • Removal of the worn yaw bearing
  • Installation and adjustment of the new bearing according to manufacturer specifications
  • Final inspection, test run, and documentation of the replacement

Thanks to our experienced assembly team, the replacement could be completed quickly, safely, and successfully, in close coordination with the operator. This restored the reliability and performance of the turbine over the long term.

Dismantling of four Enercon E66 Turbines

Summer 2024

In Aurich, we carried out the professional dismantling of four Enercon E66 turbines.

All turbine components - except the towers - were refurbished and reused on the secondary market.

The project was located in a nature conservation area, which meant that the work had to be carried out under special and strict regulations. Thanks to our careful planning and experience with decommissioning, we were able to fulfill all requirements and successfully complete the project.

Project scope in detail:

  • Dismantling of 4 × Enercon E66 turbines (rotor blades, hubs, nacelles, tower segments)
  • Reuse of all components except the towers
  • Compliance with stringent nature conservation and environmental regulations
  • Logistics & transport of the turbine parts for continued use in the used equipment market

With this project, we make an active contribution to sustainability through the reuse of wind turbine components, and demonstrate that dismantling work in sensitive areas can be carried out professionally and in an environmentally responsible way.
